You might be interested in the Financial Section on this site. Banks, like Building Societies, often have a restricted range of services - and are notoriously conservative when investing your money. This usually results in very low rates of return. Our financial section covers other Financial Institutions, Mortgages, Investment Consultants, Credit & Finance Companies - and Crowd Funding!

Local Chambers of Commerce for WV16 4NR. These can be an extraordinarily effective way of getting into the business community and / or getting things done. Equally they can be entirely useless depending on the chair. If they have networking events associated with them definitely go, and keep going, if you have a business that need local support. What you put in is exactly what you get out. Below is the national site. Watch this slot - it might improve!
Bridgnorth Town Hall

High St, Bridgnorth WV16 4DX, UK – 01746 762231

Popped in recently whilst visiting relatives. Had a really interesting tour from the curator who was really friendly. She even served us tea in the tea room afterwards! Happy to recommend.

Fascinating place for a visit and lovely little cafe. The stained glass windows are amazing. One of the other reviewers noted a lack of a British flag. I didn't notice to be honest but there are stunning stained glass windows in the old court room with the symbols of each part of the UK and through into the cafe the windows show kings, queens (up to Victoria I think) and parts of the empire. Exceptionally helpful and knowledgeable lady in the cafe area who was really patient discussing the buildings history. Highly recommended.

Clean, professional dentist(s) for this part of Shropshire been a customer when previously on Whitburn road before Sainsbury’s took over summerfield’s supermarket

Regency House Dental Practice

39 Underhill St, Bridgnorth WV16 4BB, UK – 01746 766114

Didn't hurt a bit. All the staff I encountered were friendly and professional too.

I have now had two separate treatment appointments at Regency House - one for a couple of fillings, and one emergency appointment for a broken tooth/lost filling. I would agree that Paul is not very outgoing or 'jolly', but I strongly suspect that this is as a result of shyness and not general personality. I am naturally outgoing and 'chatty' and today (when I received my emergency treatment) we were actually laughing about flavoured anaesthetic and trying to decide on what flavour would be best. I have found him to be a perfectly adequate and professional dentist, who is deft and swift. The young dental nurses are just that - young - and respond well to some lighthearted conversation. I would agree that the 'front of house' staff are a bit off-putting, but all in all I have experienced a lot worse. The practice is clean and tidy, and whilst he is quiet and rather withdrawn, I suspect Paul is actually just shy. Try talking pleasantly to him and he responds likewise.

The aim of this site is to reduce the amount of waste that goes to landfill (20.9 million tonnes of it last year in the UK) and recycling is great news for the environment.

Local Restaurants & Places to Eat around Bridgnorth

Thai Arts

69 St Marys St, Bridgnorth WV16 4DR, UK – 01746 768980

Beautiful food. Good service. Only criticism is would have liked larger rice portion :)

Staff are attentive and keen to make sure you enjoy your meal. The menu is varied and has a good range of meals with lots of chilli and those without. There are some set meals too for those who don't know what to choose for the best. Portion sizes are good. It is a small restaurant so worth reserving a table on Friday and Saturday evenings. Midweek evenings tend to be a bit quieter. Open some lunchtimes too.

Prezzo Bridgnorth

52 High St, Bridgnorth WV16 4DX, UK – 01746 765620

We have just had a lovely meal here. The food was perfectly cooked-compliments to the chef(s), and the service was excellent. We were made to feel most welcome and well looked after, despite the place being very busy. The two ladies and one gentleman who served us were very pleasant and efficient. Thanks to all involved; we will definitely visit again, and recommend!!!!

Food was good although they did skimp out on the steak on my steak and rocket salad. Service on the other hand, below average. We were nearly charged for drinks we had ordered 20 minutes before we decided to leave, but they were never received.

Casa Ruiz

45 High St, Bridgnorth WV16 4DX, UK – 01746 218084

Love this place. Proper authentic tapas in this tiny rustic attic restaurant. The staff are super friendly and knowledgeable and nothing is too much trouble. Reccomend booking especially Fridays and Saturdays as they are so good they are always fully booked!!!

Casa Ruiz offers a traditional Spanish Tapas menu. With an authentic taverna experience provided by their rustic setting and Spanish music. Specials are regularly updated accompanying a varied menu, some dishes suitable for vegetarians. Patatas Bravas, Gambas Al Pil Pil and a number of Chorizo dishes within Casa Ruiz's traditional menu, all of which have a useful English description of what they are. The wine menu is extensive, however you can't go wrong with the House red Rioja. The prices of dishes vary, a table of 4 guests could look to spend between £80-£100 depending on drinks (that includes one bottle of wine for the table). So around £20-£25 a head. Booking is essential on weekends as they are extremely busy!
